Report from January 4th

One good thing when you camp is having a dry spell in the morning so you aren’t battling to get a wet tent into it’s sack and trying to keep the mud off everything else. So the a dry start to the day helped.
I wandered past Godrevy lighthouse and came upon Seal Cove which was indeed full of seals of all shapes and sizes. However it was the colours that were the most impressive with a glorious mix of browns, whites and greys. I watched the seal mainly sleeping with the odd one undulating across the sand and its friends.
The path carried on along the relatively level cliffs towards Perranporth. It was a shorter walk today but it was still worth a pint in the Pub at Perranporth.
