A short 12 mile walk started off in the mists of the morning. My tent was soaked with dew/condensation. In all the manuals they say to avoid condensation you should avoid camping on low lying ground or near water. Good luck with that in coastal Essex.
The sun burnt through the mist and I walked along the coast and along the banks of the Crouch . The tide was in so there were hundreds of Oystercatchers on the banks with some green shank and noisy Canada geese. I got into Burnham on Crouch at 3pm and had a nice tea at the ye Olde White Harte. When in doubt stick an e on the ende of a worde to make it look old.
