Report from May 20th

I walked slightly regretfully the last few miles to take me off the island of Anglesey.
The walk gave me good views of the Pont Brittania and the suspension bridge.
I also came across the large statue of Nelson near the Pont Brittannia. This was one of the earliest statues made in concrete.
I finally set off across the suspension bridge in a steady down pour.
The final leg of trip into my rest days in Bangor was through the Porth Nant wildlife area. Still no squirrels but the remarkable use of barbed wire as a non-slip component of numerous wooden steps.
I settled into my hotel , to repair my tent and have a good rest before finishing the Wales coastal path next week
